ABOUT

The software used in the design of this website is mainly Adobe Dreamweaver.
I use it in split mode (code/live), in order to observe changes made in the code.
Although it is not the cheapest software there is a substantial student discount if you go for Adobe Creative Cloud which includes Dreamweaver, and also many other apps.

The main advantage of using Dreamweaver is not only can you edit code directly, but you can also edit any CSS or JS scripts from within the program. This is very helpful when trying to add, remove or modify sections of script. Another plus is the inclusion of both an FTP client within the program for transferring your website to a host, and compatibility with GitHub.

Apart from Dreamweaver, I also used windows notepad as a text editor quite a lot. I find it helpful when making changes to code that you want to share to other pages.

     Interactive instructions:

When you go to one of the civilisation sections with the artifacts (Minoan/Greek/Roman/Etruscan).
To interact first select either 'Photogrammetry' or '3D Scan' from one of the 'Select' dropdown menus.
This will open the 3D file in a viewer, to interact all you have to do is 'Hold down your Left mouse button, then move the mouse'.
(This will rotate the image around on its axis)
To drag the image from side to side or up and down just use the 'Right mouse button' instead of the left.
