TECHNOLOGY

The technology I use is a blend of hardware, software, and downloadable content. 3DModels: Sketchfab (3D content online) Has loads of archaeological models to view & many downloadable. Thingiverse (3D content online) Has a wide range of assorted models to view & download. 3Dviewer.net Is a website that supports drag and drop viewing of your own 3D content.

Hardware:
The hardware I use is a 3D scanner called 'Mole' which I own. I purchased it from 3DMakerPro a 3D scanner manufacturer, you can find them in the 'Links' page. I also have the various attachments that let me use the scanner portably using my smartphone.
The laptop I use is a Medion S15447 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz 2.10 GHz and 64 GB Ram.
The 3D printer that I own is a Snapmaker 2.0 model A150, you can find them in the 'Links' page. The Snapmaker 2.0 3D printer is a three-in-one printer, it has interchangeable heads that turn it into a 3D printer, a CNC machine, and a Laser engraver.

Software:
The software I use obviously depends on what I am doing. For webpage design I use Adobe Dreamweaver, and Windows Notepad and Microsoft Word for text editing.
For image manipulation and editing I use Microsoft Paint 3D and Adobe Photoshop. The Adobe products I use are part of the Adobe Creative Cloud package with special pricing for students, you can find them in the 'Links' page.
For the 3D scanner the software that I use is called JMStudio, and for editing 3D files I use Blender, Microsoft 3D Builder, and Prusa Slicer. The 3D printer uses a piece of software called Luban.

Downloadable content (3D models) is available from a variety of sources, but for 3D archaeological scans the best I have found so far is Sketchfab. (see above or links page for details)

To enable the display of 3D images on the website whether photogrammetry or 3D scan, I incorporate a simple piece of code from kovacsv on GitHub.

Here is the tiny snippet of code used:
